Problem

People in the field had no up-to-date warehouse information

Workers and drivers in the field had no access to the system, nor could they use it effectively. So they did not have information on material availability at the moment they needed it.

For every question about stock levels they had to call or text. The system served only as a static overview and did not provide up-to-date, reliable information for work in the field.

Without certainty about material availability, they preferred to source it externally — the result was unnecessary costs, construction delays, and wasted time.

What we built

A WhatsApp bot connected to the warehouse system

We created a bot connected to WhatsApp, which is a natural communication channel for employees, and linked it to the warehouse system.

Users can thus instantly find out the current state of material in the warehouses and at specific construction sites directly from the field, without having to call or hunt for information elsewhere.
